Building upon the same conceptual framework as Terraqueous Soundscapes, this project captures a variety of vibes and presents itself to the listener not only as a cohesive musical production, but also as an emotional journey through both the lighter and darker sides of the self. As humans, we all have inner demons that subconsciously reveal themselves from time to time despite our continual attempts at suppression, and I've found that the sweet static of a flowing river can work wonders to clear the mind when these mental monsters bare their fangs. This project is a tribute to the effects of those currents and the intimate connection between inner reflection and outward experience in general. People in every corner of the globe engage daily in the quest for currencies, but not nearly enough think they can afford to spare some time to listen and let the natural currents ease... Enjoy.

"It remains quite fascinating that so many humans manage to keep their heads above the water, treading away despite the unending current, unforeseen rocky obstacles, and suppressed fear of an inescapable waterfall looming in the distance; indeed this is a true feat of courage (with a touch of stupidity perhaps). For the fact is, the river will continue to flow long after its occupants meet their demise on the rocks below, as it did before each of them even took their first strokes within the cold water. We are given the privilege of entering a functioning system and allowed to play around with the knobs and levers for a bit. Whether there is any net gain from our personal tinkering remains quite subjective. Yet, one rule (that is rarely broken) is that due to personal perceptual nuances (arising from both nature and nurture), each individual is given a unique set of tools, a unique understanding of what the tools can be used for, and a unique set of resources that the tools can be applied to (Alas, what is a hammer without a nail?) With their unique combinations, everyone retains the chance of being able to witness the planet, the universe, and life in a new way that others can comprehend, but never could have come up with in the exact same terms from the perspective of their own unique combinations. For this reason, every human life is valuable, or at the very least has the potential to be valuable. So while we may be leaves floating down a fast, cold river towards a seemingly bottomless waterfall, every so often, we catch a ray of sunlight that reminds us of the days we were still attached to the tree, and it's all worth it."
